Cloud Fax Integrates with Epic EHR
Overview
The Epic application servers submit outbound fax requests to Cloud Fax via the Epic Print Services (EPS) and, optionally, can pass custom metadata for enhanced reporting. The status of sent faxes is retrieved from Cloud Fax by EPS and updated within the EHR. Network folders based on the inbound fax number organizes documents and imports them for review and attachment to the proper patient record.
